  • Codependence counselling at 96 Harley Psychotherapy

There are many definitions of codependence. In essence, it is an inability to stand on one's own two feet in life - and deriving a sense of worth from the people, environments and objects that surround you. Someone who is codependent, for example, may feel like they have no value without a spouse or partner in their life, or little value without a particular job or level of income.

At 96 Harley Psychotherapy, our practitioners can help you to identify and process the feelings of emptiness that accompany the compulsion to define yourself in relation to people and objects outside yourself. Recovery from codependence can help bring you into "right relationship" with the world.
