I work with individuals in areas of depression, anxiety, trauma, abuse, low self-esteem, eating disorders, domestic violence, or with any situation where an individual may feel unable to reach their own potential. I believe that our job as counsellors is to provide a degree of that which may have been lacking for our clients in earlier life, whether it be a safe environment, healthier boundaries, more autonomy, a positive self-image, stability, etc. Some of the therapeutic models I work with are person-centred, transactional analysis, psychodynamic and Gestalt. I work with dreams, imagery, poetry, artwork, and various other media that my clients may choose to bring to their sessions.

As your counsellor I will offer you a safe space where you can freely discuss and explore any issues, difficulties or concerns you may have, in a non-judgemental environment where you will be accepted unconditionally.

In addition to her counselling work, Pauline is a budding writer and has written a number of short stories for children, which she is hoping to get published.
